The top high school basketball players from Anne Arundel County will be on display Wednesday at the annual Capital-Gazette All-Star Classic event.

Arundel High will host the 25th annual tournament, and the most valuable players from the previous 24 versions of the event will be honored during the game. 

The All-Star Classic is sponsored by Capital-Gazette Communications. Tickets are $5, and proceeds of the event will go toward the Boys and Girls Scholarship Trust.

The girls will tip off at 6 p.m., while the boys will follow at 8 p.m.

Student-athletes from Crofton-area high schools participating in the Classic include: 

Ryan Hill, Arundel

Austin Carroll, Arundel

Keaton Mack, Arundel

Markus Oliphant, Arundel

Aaron Lewis-Cenales, Arundel

Ke’la Ballard, Arundel

Briana Oliver, Arundel

Kierra McKellery, Arundel

Justin Halsey, South River

The Arundel boys and girls will play on the South teams, with South River athletes playing for the North teams.
