Baysox Honor School of the Incarnation Student at Assembly

Third-grader Grayson Grigsby was one of the Bowie Baysox winners for its Read and Hit a Home Run poster campaign.

The Bowie Baysox hosted a special assembly to honor a third-grader at the School of Incarnation Friday morning.

During the assembly, Baysox mascot Louie and other staff members congratulated third-grader Grayson Grisby, who was the Anne Arundel/Queen Anne’s/Howard County poster design winner.

Students from across the area submitted poster designs as part of the Baysox Read and Hit a Home Run Reading Program. Grayson’s poster will be reproduced and placed in every participating school in the three counties. Grayson was also presented with a framed copy of his poster during the assembly.

Grayson received a Baysox prize package and will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the game on May 11.

Do you know Grayson? Congratulate him in the comments below.
