At 9 a.m. Saturday, Crofton Cub Scout Pack 731 will hold its annual Rain Gutter Regatta.

More than 30 Crofton-area boys, grades 2-5, will be building their own mini sailboats and racing them in 10-foot lengths of guttering, using "lung power" for the wind.

Arundel Volunteer Fire Department Engine 7 hosts the event annually. The firemen welcome the boys and their families and give tours of the trucks to the siblings.
