Jazzercise Jumps into New Studio

Croftonite Dawn Scalza is offering free jazzercise classes Friday and Saturday to mark the grand opening of the new Crofton/Gambrills Jazzercise.

Dawn Scalza moved to Crofton nearly 15 years ago and she’s been helping people move and groove ever since.

The New Jersey native owns . She started the rhythmic fitness classes 15 years ago as a mobile operation around the Crofton-Gambrills area.

Scalza said she held Jazzercise classes in the Fellowship Hall and the .  She said she always longed for the day when she could stop renting and open her own studio.

On Friday Scalza will cut the ribbon on her new fitness studio in the rear of the SJ Chadwick building on Route 3 in Gambrills. Crofton/Gambrills Jazzercise will offer free classes Friday and Saturday.
