Elevation Burger to Open at Waugh Chapel

Company officials said they aren't ready to announce an open date for the high-end burger joint.

The Waugh Chapel Towne Centre can add a burger joint to its list of new restaurants.

Elevation Burger appears close to opening at the shopping center, bringing the first location to Anne Arundel County. A company representative said the Elevation is not yet ready to announce when it will open in Gambrills.

A look in the window of the restaurant shows seating for about 20 guests, a Coca-Cola Freestyle Machine and a refrigerator for Wild Bill's Soda's.

Elevation is known for its all-organic burgers made from grass-fed beef, plus malts and shakes.

Along with Five Guys, Zinburger and other chains, it's part of a trend toward higher-end burger spots.

Have you been to an Elevation Burger? Let us know what we might be in store for.

So delicious, and it will be nice to have an organic option local. Their food doesn't make you feel gross after you consume it.

I've never been, but I'm a new vegetarian, so I'm very excited to hear that there are two veggie burgers. I'm excited to give them a try.

Hopefully it doesn't go downhill like the Lanham one has. Last time I ate there the burger was dry as a hockey puck and the fries were terrible.

I checked out their menu. Seems interesting. Has anybody eaten fries in olive oil before? I have never heard of anyone doing it commercially - seems like a really expensive proposition. Replacing gallons of olive oil when it goes rancid... http://www.oliveoiltimes.com/olive-oil-basics/good-olive-oils-gone-bad/8900

Would rather go to Wendy's and I really don't like Wendy's! First off they forgot 2 of my condiments...one that I paid extra for. Since I got it to go and ate at ho.e there was nothing I could do. The burger was cooked perfectly, fairly juicy, and not too messy....but it just did not do it for me. I felt the same as I do anytime I eat a burger so their ploy on the website is not so true about feeling better after you eat their food. Bottom line.....NOT EVEN IN THE SAME BALLPARK AS FIVE GUYS!!!

This place is Awesome, went there on Sunday 12 May 2013, did not look open but went in and EVERYTHING WAS FREE. Burger, Fries, Coke, Chocolate Shake, Mandarine Oranges, Oatmeal / Chocolate cookies. We ate for 3. They were so nice, and very attentive to all our needs.
