Father Charged in Triple Stabbing

Julio Cesar Esquetini, 49, was charged in connection with a Wednesday stabbing that sent three people and himself to shock trauma.

A Crofton man has been arrested in connection with a triple stabbing that occurred Wednesday morning at 1615 Forest Hill Court, county police said.

Julio Cesar Esquetini, 49 of that address, is charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder, First Degree Assault, Second Degree Assault and several related charges, according to a release from AACP.

Police spokesman Justin Mulcahy said a family violence call from the home came into the department around 6:37 a.m..

According to Mulcahy, first responders on the scene found a woman and her two daughters had been stabbed. Mulcahy said the woman is 49-years-old and the daughters are 20 and 13 years old.

Esquetini is under police guard at Shock Trauma in Baltimore. According to a police news release, Esquentini and the three victims are in fair condition.
