The following information was submitted to Crofton Patch by Sabine Murphy of Junior Troop 4807.
Crofton Junior Girl Scout Troop 4807 is collecting new arts and craft items to establish a craft station at Ronald McDonald House at JHU Hospital in Baltimore. The idea is to give very sick children, who are at JHU over an extended time, and their visiting families an activity station.
The donated items must be new, because of the patients' compromised immunity. The girl scouts are working for their Bronze Award.
The girls are looking for items like:
- Craft paper
- Popsicle sticks
- Pipe cleaners
- Similar craft projects
Deadline is June 1. Donated items can be dropped off on the front porch of 1500 Avennel Way in Crofton.
