For residents who have questions about how a new residential project will impact area schools, the Board of Education announced a public briefing to be held Feb. 13 in addition to a public hearing in March.

The briefing is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Feb. 13 in the cafeteria at Crofton Middle School, located at 2301 Davidsonville Rd. in Gambrills. The public will have the opportunity to review a proposal from the developer and ask questions. However, no public testimony will be taken at this briefing.
Those who wish to comment on the plans may do so at the public hearing scheduled for 7 p.m. on March 20 at South River High School, located at 201 Central Ave. East in Edgewater.
