Nando's Chicken Looking to Hire at Waugh Chapel
The casual dining chain is looking for up to 40 workers and is eyeing a mid-December opening.
Nando's Peri-Peri will open a new location at the Waugh Chapel Towne Centre next month, and is looking to hire up to 40 workers.
The restaurant known for its Portuguese-style chicken will hold a job fair in front of the new store on Nov. 23 and 24, and is looking to fill a wide range of positions, said Nando's Talent Manager Jackie Yudd.
The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and applicants can get on-the-spot interviews.
Nando's is looking to open during the second week of December.
Nando's Waugh Chapel location will be the 10th in the United States, though it has more than 1,000 spots worldwide. The fast-casual restaurant chain began in South Africa in 1987, and its recipes were inspired by the Portuguese who came to the country during the gold rush of the early 1900s. ("Peri-Peri" refers to the type of chili contained in the chicken's sauce.)
