Crofton’s Margaret Woda is working to make the holidays a little better for troops stationed overseas with “Operation Christmas.” The project collects toiletries, candy, trinkets and cards to uplift the spirits of servicemen and women in Iraq and Afghanistan. Woda said the Crofton effort works with “Operation Give” in Utah.
Wednesday is the final day for collection. Thursday Crofton Village Garden Club volunteers will sort the items. Once that’s completed Long and Foster Relators will stuff approximately 108 bags.
