'Operation Christmas' Volunteers Pack Gifts for Troops
The Long and Foster realtors on Defense Highway volunteered the past month to collect goods to send to soldiers stationed overseas for "Operation Christmas."
Some Crofon and Bowie realators rolled up thier sleeves this past weekend to stuff holiday goodie bags to send to trrops stationed overseas.
it's part of "Operation Christmas." The Long and Foster relators became "Santa's elves" as they prepared 160 care packages in the basement of their Defense Highway location.
The bags are filled with toiletries, candy, trinkets and cards to uplift the spirits of servicemen and women in Iraq and Afghanistan. Organizer Margaret Woda said the Crofton-based effort works with “Operation Give” in Utah.

With our office location in the middle of a triangle formed by Fort Meade/NSA, Andrews Joint Forces Base, and the U.S. Naval Academy, our office helps a lot of military families with their real estate needs. This project gives us an opportunity to demonstrate to them and all the troops that we truly do care about them and appreciate the sacrifices they make for all of us. Thanks for the exposure, Crofton Patch!
