The Crofton Civic Association hosted a tree lighting Monday night to welcome Santa Claus to Crofton.
More than 200 children and their parents gathered at the Crofton Country Club for Christmas carols, arts and crafts and holiday treats.
The Arundel Volunteer Fire Department ushered jolly old St. Nick to the country club where kids took turns telling him their holiday wish.
