Woman Robbed at Gunpoint on Lowell Ct.

The search is underway for the man who robbed a Crofton woman Sunday night on Lowell Court.

Anne Arundel County Police are looking for the man who robbed a Crofton woman at gunpoint Sunday night.

According to a police release, the incident occurred around 10:46 p.m. in the 1500 block of Lowell Court. That’s where a 25-year-old woman told officers she was getting out of her vehicle and a man approached her.

She was opening the door and the male suspect displayed a handgun and demanded her purse, according to the report. She reportedly handed over her purse and a shopping bag. The suspect then got into a white older model minivan parked several spaces away and left the scene.

A police release described the suspect as:

  • Black male
  • Early 20’s
  • Approximately 5’9
  • Medium build
  • Wearing glasses and a goatee

The suspect was last seen wearing a black and white camouflage print hooded sweatshirt.
