Starting on Sunday, May 15, the Bowie Farmers' Market offers fresh, locally grown produce, fruit, cut flowers, plants, breads, pastries, jams, jellies and more. Farmers' Market bags are available with a qualifying purchase. The market operates in the parking lot of the Bowie Center for the Performing Arts at Bowie High School.

More About Bowie Center for the Performing Arts
The Bowie Center for the Performing Arts (BCPA) is a community arts venue, located in Bowie. The BCPA is an instructional facility for the performing arts, hosting a wide range of activities and events, including theater, music, dance, lectures, films, workshops, concerts and creative arts therapy. The space has a policy of non-discrimination, being "open for appropriate use by all persons, regardless of race, color, disability, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or national origin."

Sunday 8 AM until 12 noon? I think that is a bad time if a person goes to church which I hope most do. OK - for those who have church on Saturday but I think most of us go on Sunday. Shame on whoever planned this.

Yes, I totally agree. They should consider having it at least until 2:00, maybe starting at 9AM. So it would only make it an extra hour.

Just got back and Carolyn and Johnny Mason had their brand-new trailer to cook and serve their sandwiches. We got a sausage, egg and cheese on English muffin and Cosmic Bean coffee that was rockin'.

Prince George's Extension Master Gardeners are at the Bowie Farmer's Market on the first Sunday of every month. They have an information table and plant clinic and will try to solve flower and vegetable questions.
