St. Patrick's Roundz After Dark Dinner
Local chef Zachary Pope draws from his experience as a chef in Ireland for the Emerald Isle-inspired menu for Roundz After Dark Saturday, March 16 at 7:30 pm.
Early in his career, Chef Pope was awarded a seven-month fellowship at the Park Hotel, Ireland's premiere country resort. This week, in honor of St. Patrick's Day, Chef Pope has designed 6-courses of haute cuisine playing off the intricate flavor combinations and textures of Irish gastronomy. Guests at the popular Roundz After Dark dinner series, held once each month at Roundz Gourmet Market (2299 Johns Hopkins Road, Gambrills) will enjoy soothing live music by local pianist Jason Noren while watching Chef and staff prepare and plate:
Roundz Smoked Salmon with Brown Bread & Capers
Bangers & Mash with Onions & Peas (Bangers- sausage)
Corned Beef in Cabbage with Apples
Baked Oysters with Rashers & Leeks (Rashers- Bacon)
Rack of Lamb with Gaelic Sauce and Rosemary Boxty (Boxty- potato pancake)
Irish Cream Trifle with Berries & Chocolate
Dinner begins promptly at 7:30 with Chef Pope's welcome and menu introduction. Cost is $80 per person and reservations can be made by calling 443.292.4631

Roundz Gourmet Market & Catering features a cafe with an open kitchen design so patrons can watch food being prepared. It allows for eat-in and take-out meals. Cooking classes are also offered for all ages.
