Coffee, Hoops and Holiday Open Houses Top This Week's Events

Are you in the holiday spirit yet? These events in the Crofton area might get you there.

Santa Visits Crofton Pediatrics
When: Monday, 1 p.m.
Where: 2209 Defense Highway, Suite C, Crofton
Details: The big man will visit patients and hand out some small gifts as he makes the rounds to all three Pediatric Group locations this month.

County Executive Holiday Open House
When: Wednesday, 4-6 p.m.
Where: Arundel Center, 44 Calvert St., Annapolis
Details: County Executive Laura Neuman will hold an open house featuring music from local students and the Opportunity Builders' Inc. Choir. Donations of non-perishable food will be accepted. 

Holiday Open House at Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company
When: Wednesday, 4 p.m.
Where: 2100 Concord Blvd. Crofton
Details: Come and sample some coffee and special cocktails, and get a tour of the roastery. 

Arundel Basketball vs. Broadneck
When: Friday, 5 p.m.
Where: Arundel High
Details: The high school basketball season gets underway as the Wildcats take on the Bruins. Girls varsity action is at 5 p.m. with the boys to follow.
