CRCC News and Notes 9/27/11

News from the Crofton Regional Community Center (CRCC).

The threatening weather kept some people away from the Crofton semi-annual Arts and Crafts Fair on Sept. 24, as well as some vendors, but it still proved to be a successful day for all who took part. The Crofton Regional Community Center (CRCC) volunteers were busy all day providing information and various items to give away. Flyers for the photo session were distributed and people were interested in this unusual offer of a free photo session and picture with each $50 donation to the CRCC. Display of the proposed drawing of the community center drew numerous people to see and ask questions. The raffle of three different E-Readers began and will continue until the drawing at the Nov. 12 Book Lovers Auction. Flyers for the Book Lovers Auction and Free Children's Festival were given out and people signed up for this event. Flyers for the Photo session as well as Newsletters were handed out and Many people signed up to receive the next newsletter by mail. People enjoyed looking at the display of authors who will be attending in person at the Book Lovers Auction.
