Flood Bucket Frenzy Oyster Restoration Project

Get ready to get dirty!  Join the Federation in our annual Flood Bucket oyster restoration project to place oyster spat in the Harness Creek Sanctuary.  Years ago South River Federation founder, John Flood, started his own program called Flood Buckets which uses 5 gallon buckets with holes to raise oyster spat.  It's that itme of year where the older spat get moved to the sanctuary and new spat get placed inside the buckets.  Closed toed shoes are required for this event.
