Drugs, Rifles Seized Near Gambrills Day Nursery - Police said a woman was involved in drug transactions near the property on St. Mary's Avenue. Officers also seized several guns located in an adjacent work building. 

Grotto Pizza Coming to Waugh Chapel - We learned in November that the popular beach-based pizza chain will move into the former Italian Market space at the Village at Waugh Chapel.

Route 3 Development, Traffic Volume Trouble Local Police - Anne Arundel County Police Chief Kevin Davis said the sheer number of cars along Route 3 was making traffic enforcement hard, and warned developers to work with local officials to mitigate traffic.
