The musical set in the 1950’s at the Sleep Tight tackled labor woes and love. From fighting for equal work and progressive pay to singing about fun time and love, this is a fun show that showcases Crofton’s local young talent.

Jitters were few as these students fixed their costumes, hair and makeup. They were ready to put on a show that they have worked so hard on.

It was evident their hard work paid off.

“I’m so excited to perform this weekend. This has been so much fun and I’m so glad I did it. I’ll be sad when it’s all over,” sixth grader and ensemble member Bronte Cook said.

Lead cast members and Lucy Bobbin were in top form as they performed their hearts out to a sold out crowd.

Supporting cast members Andrea Sturgis, Kyle Hefner, Jay Lee and Caleb Foster did an excellent job in their supporting roles. The ensemble demonstrated their talents and hard work as the show went off without a hitch.

Musical Director Sean Lane said he’s proud of the cast for all of their hard work.

“I’ve enjoyed working with this group of kids. It was great fun watching them learn the lyrics and see it all come together,” Lane said.

If you missed the show Friday, tickets are still available for Saturday, Sunday and next weekend.

Shows start at 7pm Friday and Saturday nights and with a final performance at 2 pm Sunday.
