'Meet Me at the Table' and Life Groups

Power of One Community Church revamps approach to Crofton ministry.

From Power of One Community Chruch

POCC has changed its ministry approach to better meet the needs of the Crofton community.

We now are a church of small mission-driven communities (called Life Groups) that meet thrughout the week in homes, workplaces, and wherever life happens.

We also gather everyone each FIRST SUNDAY of the month, 10am, at Crofton Meadows Elementary for a worship and celebration event we call “Meet Me at the Table.”

The monthly event centers around a community meal and the Lord’s Supper. The goal is to bring people together in unity, celebrate how lives have been impacted throughout the month in the small communities, and acknowledge that serving Jesus Christ and living out his mission is what connects us.

At a typical “Meet Me at the Table” you can expect live music, people sharing personal stories about their faith, a free meal, and an inspirational message. The next gathering is scheduled November 6, 2011.

So glad she was found. Yes, where does she go now?

Molly is safe and secure at her new foster family and will be reunited with her family once they areRead More settled into a place that accepts small dogs. Molly was unharmed in the fire and after 2 days of being lost, hungry and a little dehydrated, she was able to find her way back to her front porch. She was then reunited with her best buddy/sidekick, Punkin, a fellow chihuahua. She stayed at Punkin's house until her human "Dad" made arrangements for her to move to her new foster family. Molly has had a rough time this past week, but on behalf of her friends and family, she thanks everyone for their well wishes and for keeping an eye out when she was lost.
