Drugs, Rifles Seized Near Gambrills Day Nursery - Police arrested two people accused of conducting drug transactions in the vicinity of the Gambrills Day Nursery. Guns were also seized from an adjacent building on the property. 

Grotto Pizza Coming to Waugh Chapel - Nothing captures the attention of people like a new eatery. And people got truly excited when they heard this beach-based chain was coming to Gambrills. 

Gourmet Grilled Cheese Coming to Gambrills - Another restaurant that is getting people excited. Grilled Cheese and Co. is moving in soon near Firehouse Subs.

Route 3 Development, Traffic Trouble Local Police - The county police chief said congestion on the main road is making traffic enforcement hard. He recommended construction of a bypass around Crofton, and said developers and the county need to work together to ensure projects don't make traffic worse.

Markiewicz Named Ravens Coach of the Week  - A week after his team beat Meade to qualify for the Class 4A football playoffs, Arundel head coach Chuck Markiewicz was honored by the Ravens. Arundel fell short in it's bid for a state title, but Markiewicz will be recognized at an on-field ceremony at a Ravens game and is eligible to be named coach of the year.
