Two Arundel High Singers Selected to National Chorus

Sarah Sinnott and Carianne Powers will perform with the National All-Honors Chorus on Oct. 30.

Two students from Arundel High School have been selected to sing with some of the best vocal performers in the nation.

Sarah Sinnott and Carianne Powers are among 670 singers picked for the National Association for Musical Education's All-National Honors Chorus.

The pair will perform with the chorus in a gala concert in Nashville, TN on Oct. 30.

"This will be an event of a lifetime that they will never forget," Arundel chorus teacher Andrea Brumbach said in a statement. "The advanced choral rehearsals will n doubt be challenging and worthwhile. I had the opportunity to hear this choir last summer at the Kennedy Center and it was truly an outstanding and unforgettable concert. The girls will be learning new and exciting music and working with the best choral musicians in the country.”
