Crofton Dance Company Performs in London
Sabrina Benko of S Be Dance sent an email to let Patch know about the dancers' performance.
Maryland is the proud home of several —including two from Anne Arundel County—but the athletes aren't the only locals in London this week.
Young dancers from in Crofton are performing at the 2012 London Invitational. The American Alliance of Performing Arts Educators recognized the group as a distinguished studio in Maryland.
According to an interview with WBAL-TV, the dancers range in age from 9 to 17 and have been practicing for two years for the opportunity to be one of six dance troupes performing.

Sabrina Benko, artistic director of S Be Dance, emailed Patch from London and said the girls had their first performance on Saturday and will perform again on Sunday.
