Regular toppings on a large pizza cost $1.75 each, so savvy customers could get up to $4.50 in free pizza toppings, Robinson said.

The owners of participating Ledo Pizza franchises are donating the toppings. Chip Noland, the owner of Ledo Pizza in Annapolis, said he was more than happy to help.

"We deliver to the hospital seven days a week," Noland said. "They have three cafeterias that they run to serve patients and employees, and to help alleviate some of the pressure they use food brought by vendors. We're one of their vendors there."

The promotion excludes Ledo's craft toppings, and all coupons must be used by the end of August. Robinson said customers can use the coupons individually or blow them all at once on one, fully loaded pizza.

Participating stores outside of Crofton include: Annapolis, Deale, Edgewater, Hanover, Kent Island, Millersville, Pasadena and Severna Park.
