NOTE: Event takes place at Fort Meade. Organizers aren asking for gift cards from local grocery stores to purchase food for troops.

Hello friends,

As many of you know I am helping hosting a Thanksgiving dinner for 300+ active service members at Fort Meade on Nov 22nd. I am challenging all of you to help me with my "Salute Our Troops" Thanksgiving dinner. I am in the process of collecting donations so that we are able to purchase all the food items as well as paper products etc so we are able to have a nice Thanksgiving dinner for some of our troops.

I am ...asking if you can donate $10 per family or, if you want, provide gift cards so that we are able to go out and buy everything we will need. The USO is providing the place on Ft. Meade where we will serve our dinner but the rest is up to ALL of us!! This event is 100% volunteer executed!

If you need the USO letter with our TIN# on it for your records I would be happy to provide that to you! Donations are tax deductible. I will also be happy to come and collect any donations! Some of the things we need in major bulk are non perishable items, such as mashed potatoes, green beans, anything in HUGE big cans that can be stocked here at my house until the dinner on the 22nd, plates, napkins, utencils etc... WE are also in need of items to use as door prizes. Please reach out to your employers also.

As we gear up for the holidays with our family and friends please remember some of these men and women have not been home with their loved ones in quite some time and I for one want to make a difference!
Thank you in advance for your contribution and if you need more details please messgae me!! Thank you all so very much!
