Eyes on Target See 'Eye of Sauron'

A Reddit user says the architectural tower at the Gambrills Target store looks eerily like the Eye of Sauron in the "Lord of the Rings" movies.

Do the tower-like structures at the Target store in Gambrills look like an evil entity from “The Lord of the Rings” films?

A post on Reddit seems to think so. Titled “I think Target is going to try to conquer Middle Earth,” a user posted a photo of the Waugh Chapel Towne Centre store.

The Baltimore Business Journal compares the Target architectural feature to the films' depiction of the Eye of Sauron glowing on a tower next to Mount Doom.

The photo with clouds overhead and Target/Lord of the Rings comparison has prompted nearly 600 comments, both clever and snarky, from readers. Some could make great pseudo-marketing campaigns, perhaps.
