Thanksgiving Dinners 'To Go'

Thanksgiving Made Easy And Quick By three Crofton-Gambrills Resturants

If you are trying to plan a big family meal but don’t want to actually do the cooking some Crofton businesses can help. By ordering a take-out turkey (or ham or prime rib) dinner for the holiday celebration you will have the enticing smell of slow-roasted turkey but without all the fuss and mess. At home all that needs to be done is to warm up the food according to the instructions enclosed with the meal. Your home will be filled with wonderful scents of food baking but with no food preparation time or work – you need only sit back and enjoy the compliments!

Dickey’s BBQ usually brings to mind summertime picnics, but the restaurant located on Rt3 is planning for holiday meals. They are offering a choice of Cajun-Fried Turkey or Smoked Turkey, plus cornbread dressing, gravy and 12 rolls for $89. For slightly more they have a complete holiday meal that includes choice of ham or smoked turkey, plus gravy, cornbread dressing, baked potato casserole and green beans with bacon. Orders for Dickey’s BBQ at the Crofton location can be made on-line or by calling their Holiday Experts Hotline at 1-866-BARBECUE.

Boston Market is known for its mouthwatering chicken; for the holidays they are offering a scrumptious choice of turkey or ham. Sides include the traditional mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing and cranberry sauce. Also included--and unique to Boston Market--is a savory spinach and artichoke dip with crackers. If there is any room left after this extensive meal, two pies are included. Boston Market reminds customers to plan ahead and allow approximately two hours to heat items at home before serving. Each meal includes detailed heating instructions to make meal preparation a snap. A dinner for 12 is $89. Boston Market recommends placing orders as soon as possible.
