One of the leading indicators of the growth in this area is the addition of child care centers.
Crofton will be getting a new one this fall when Celebree Learning Center opens on Transportation Boulevard, near Conway Road and Route 3.
Work on building out the center is being completed now, and the center is accepting applications.
Celebree has numerous centers throughout Maryland, but this will be its second in Anne Arundel County. It also operates a center in Severna Park.
