Vocelli's Pizzeria Offers New Eat-In Option

After more than two years in the delivery business, Vocelli's now gives patrons the option to dine in.

Family-friendly dining in Crofton is looking up with the grand opening of , located in Carver Square off of Maryland Route 3.

After 2 1/2 years in the delivery business, owner Eric Chadwick decided to offer an eat-in option due to patron demand.

“We were turning people away because we did not have dine-in,” said Chadwick, who is proud to both live and work in Crofton.

The eatery, which has been open for about two weeks, has seating for 80 people.

Chadwick, the father of 6-year-old triplets and a 5-year-old, is dedicated to making Vocelli’s an affordable, family-friendly dining environment. There’s a handwashing sink for kids on their way to eat from practice, no bar area or alcohol served, and pricing that allows a family of four to eat for $18-22 total.

There are also no servers so tipping is not required, said Chadwick, to help keep costs low for families on a budget. Patrons order their food at the counter, seat themselves, and wait for their order to come up.

Another bonus? According to Chadwick, everything is made fresh. If you don’t want to dine in, Vocelli’s is still offering delivery and online ordering. You can just grab a super-sized slice of one of their 18-inch, New York-style pies for the road.

Chadwick says the best selling pie is the 18-inch Meat Magnifico, but his personal favorite is the Quattro Cheese.

Vocelli Pizza is open for dining in from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and until 9 p.m. on weekends. Vocelli’s also offers space for breakfast meetings and after-hours parties. More information on space rental, and a full menu, can be found online, or by calling 410-721-8787.

Love, love, love the hand washing station. Any Vocelli lovers out there that can vouch for their pie? I hear they make a mean salad, too.

Molly is safe and secure at her new foster family and will be reunited with her family once they areRead More settled into a place that accepts small dogs. Molly was unharmed in the fire and after 2 days of being lost, hungry and a little dehydrated, she was able to find her way back to her front porch. She was then reunited with her best buddy/sidekick, Punkin, a fellow chihuahua. She stayed at Punkin's house until her human "Dad" made arrangements for her to move to her new foster family. Molly has had a rough time this past week, but on behalf of her friends and family, she thanks everyone for their well wishes and for keeping an eye out when she was lost.
