Great for telling us about this on Thursday. Wednesday is gone and now it is over. Great timing.

This was covered on Sept. 4: http://crofton.patch.com/articles/movie-theater-announces-preview-show-times-grand-opening Yesterday's article should have just been a reminder.

Could you be any more nagative? This was advertised before and has been in other local papers and sites for weeks now. Pay attention! We went all three days and really enjoyed ourselves. The theater is very nice and we're thrilled to have a local theater as we go to the movies all the time!

Didn't show in until Thursday morning emails for me either.

We went down to get ticket about an hour before the show began yesterday afternoon. Sold out. Oh well.

We did post multiple articles about the preview event in advance and the Wednesday article was just a reminder for those who had missed the other articles. Please accept my apologies that it showed up in the Thursday newsletter email—that was not supposed to happen.

Thanks to Regal Cinema, Patch and all of those that supported the Grants 4 Teachers program. Be sure to tell all your teacher friends about the grants program and if you or your business is inclined to support the teachers in our county, you can contribute to our efforts to support our teachers at the Community Foundation. Out of full disclosure, I started this fund a few years ago to help creative teachers and keep them from pulling money out of their own pockets to pay for classroom needs. I'm not sure that non-bloggers realize that there's a time delay between when a blog gets submitted to Patch, when it gets approved, and when it actually shows up on the site. Thank you not only for posting this but for reminding everyone that this is just more than cheap movies, it's cheap movies for a cause!

Thank you Meryl for clearing things up. This movie announcement is not the first time I've received a announcement a day or two past an event. I'll try to remember the next time this happens.

I'm on the Severna Park Patch and I checked my history all the way back to September 4th. No post in regards to this going on. I check my email everyday. If it was posted I missed it. Some people do not get the newspaper. Please Cat don't be so judgmental. I'm sure there were others who would have loved to have been able to go to the movies and missed the opportunity to go. I'm glad you were able to go all 3 days.
