The excitement is building for the Friday grand opening of the and preview events allow residents to get a peek inside, catch a flick for just $2, and help local nonprofits.
The theater is the latest opening following , (with a drive-thru) and the at Waugh Chapel Towne Centre.

The movies on Wednesday, with shows starting as early as 11:20 a.m. and running as late as 10:10 p.m., will benefit the Grants 4 Teachers program of the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC).
The purpose of Grants 4 Teachers is to fund "creative ideas that otherwise would be impossible to implement in the classroom due to school system funding constraints," according to a press release.
By taking the kids to the movies, you may be helping their teachers!

We went all three days and really enjoyed ourselves. The theater is very nice and we're thrilled to have a local theater as we go to the movies all the time!
Out of full disclosure, I started this fund a few years ago to help creative teachers and keep them from pulling money out of their own pockets to pay for classroom needs. Balanced Life Skills, Joe Van Deuren
