What's Missing in Crofton?

With all of the new retail development in the area, it's easy to think that we have everything we want and need. 

The Waugh Chapel Towne Centre is nearly complete, with dozens of new stores and restaurants. Other nearby development has introduced additional places to dine and shop. 

But is there a restaurant, store or service that is still lacking in the Crofton area? Is there a type of store that you'd still like to see move in? Is there a restaurant variety that is missing? 

I'd like to know what you think. 

I'll start with the following suggestions: A Bahama Breeze restaurant and a FedEx Office store. 

Bahama Breeze is owned by Darden, the same folks who operate Olive Garden, Red Lobster and Longhorn. There are plenty of Darden restaurants around, including several near Arundel Mills. But the closest Bahama Breeze—and the only one in Maryland—is in Towson. 

I ate at a Bahama Breeze in Orlando last month and liked their caribbean-style food. It's different than most of the casual restaurants around here. 

As for FedEx Office, I noticed the lack of a store recently when I missed a shipment to my house and asked that it be directed to a store. The closest FedEx Office locations are in Glen Burnie or Annapolis. 

While the UPS store is nice, it would help to also have a FedEx facility close by in order to pick up and send packages.

A few other ideas: 

• Sonic - Who doesn't need a place for quick hot dogs and cheap slushes, delivered by people on roller skates? There is only one in the entire county.
• Cracker Barrel - People went crazy when they found the chain will open it's first local restaurant in Linthicum. 
• Steak N' Shake - They are everywhere as you head west, but currently the closest one to Crofton is in Fredericksburg, VA. Yummy burgers, good fries.
