Mommytwins - there is a Fashion Bug in the Odenton Shopping Center on Rt. 175, not far from Waugh Chapel at all.
Danielle April 22, 2012 at 07:09 PM
Fashion Bug SUCKS! Nothing But Plus Size Clothing And If They Have Your Size Its All Old Fashion Or Granny Clothing. I'm A Teenager, My Friends And I Most Likely Will Go To The Movies And Get Something To Eat But The Clothing Is A Must Have. Hip & Up-To-Date! You All Should Push For A Big NAMEBRAND Clothing Department Like Nordstrom,Ross,Sears,Macy's,Dillard's,Bloomingdale's even a shoe store ... I Mean The List Can Go On And On And Onnnnnnn. I'm Just A Little Disappointed!!!!! I Thought It Would Be Bowie Towne Center Vs Waugh Chapel South. I'm Guessing Bowie Won D:

The last thing Crofton needs is another food place! We need clothes stores, The Body Shop, Bath and Body Works, a book store. We are taking our money to Annapolis, Columbia and Bowie. Revisit and get something other than another grocery store and subway.
John April 29, 2012 at 12:43 PM
We also needs an Office Depot or Staples.
Stacy P May 02, 2012 at 04:27 PM
Kohl's, Michaels, Payless and Trader Joe's
Nancy C May 10, 2012 at 12:52 PM
Hobby Lobby, Shoes, Trader Joes

I agree with John. I'm disappointed that neither Staples or Office Depot is listed. A Best Buy would also be nice.
Christina May 23, 2012 at 01:08 AM
trader joe's sounds awesome but wegmans is really good! we should have a cracker barrel, that would bring in a crowd for sure! and subway yeah we have enough of that, must be the promotion of "healthy eating" it would be awesome to have more clothing stores. or a bakery/cupcakes.
Christina May 23, 2012 at 01:09 AM
also has anyone heard of the ulta beauty and if that will open up and when?
Tricia May 23, 2012 at 09:03 PM
Sonic, Charming Charlie's, trader joes, Joann's Fabric, Famous Dave's, Cheddars. These sound good to me.
Chris May 27, 2012 at 07:46 PM
I can't believe there isn't a hardware / home improvement store in the area. I hate going to Bowie.
AJ June 01, 2012 at 03:22 AM
I heard Bonefish Grille was coming.....great upscale restaurant. And yes, we need an office store (Kinkos, Offcie Depot, or Staples)

I wish there was more clothing stores in Crofton. I also would like to not have to travel too far outside of Glen Burnie to a bookstore. Can either Books A Million or Barnes & Noble come there please? Glen Burnie has no chain bookstores since the locals don't really read. I don't do Arundel Mills to often as it is getting more and more congested.
Aljorie Stallings June 04, 2012 at 11:05 AM
Old Navy left me in Severna Park a few months back! HELLO! Can one come to Crofton?
CarolLynn June 12, 2012 at 09:25 PM
If they get Bonefish Grill I will be over the moon happy! Love that place! And yes, more clothing stores are needed!
CarolLynn June 12, 2012 at 09:28 PM
Please keep me posted about any new stores in Waugh Chapel South as they are announced.
Anne Davidson June 27, 2012 at 08:10 PM
I agree Tricia, a Joann Fabrics would be a nice addition.
John July 12, 2012 at 07:35 PM
Subway Cafe is now open.
My Opinion July 28, 2012 at 12:47 PM
A book store would be awesome, love the book stores and they are becoming like the dinosaurs: extinct....so sad to see this happen to the bookstores and to us the people...bring on a bookstore to Waugh Chapel!
Betsy Garcia August 10, 2012 at 06:16 PM
Wegman's is a great store and there's an entrance for it so you don't have to deal with the trashy chain stores. I'm disappointed with the corporate stores... It's sad. I travel all over the country for my job and the whole country looks this way... It's too much!
Elizabeth Ann August 10, 2012 at 06:30 PM
the fashion bug on route 175 will be closing soon at least that is what I read a few days ago.

That BS joint Green Turtle has a racist manager !!! 100 white folks smoking Newports onthe patio (not to mention the fight that broke out) but she (fat blonde short woman In a black Under Armour polo top) confronts the ppl smoking cigars??? Claiming and defaming they weren't spending money?? How about the 1 Thousand u made on them the night before??!!?? How about the former NFL pros bringing ppl to your pos racist joke of a sports bat??!!??
Kendra Shayma September 17, 2012 at 12:22 AM
I was also perplexed by this manager in the Greene Turtle in Crofton. (Same fat, short caucasian lady w/blonde streaky hair who had a physical altercation and allowed them to stay put in the Greene Turtle) I saw former NFL players drop money and great tips for the luxury of enjoying a meal and their cigars and she had the MD State Police threaten one man & provoke him to leave when he did NOTHING WRONG, but did nothing but hang out with and joke with the caucasian men sMoking Newports)I can only I assume she didn't realize one gentleman was a former Dallas Cowboy)..but how would she realize that if she was forming impromptu policy & favortism based on skin color.
Daveiathan September 17, 2012 at 12:58 AM
Maybe she did know he was a former NFL pro and made him leave because she was afraid he'd sexually assault the waitresses or smoke crack, like some other former Dallas Cowboys.
Richard Hertz September 17, 2012 at 02:23 AM
Perhaps you'll be the first.
Richard Hertz September 17, 2012 at 02:24 AM
Do you think that Subway just puts stores any old place without doing research?
Richard Hertz September 17, 2012 at 02:26 AM
Maybe you should talk to UPS or Fedex about a franchise.
Richard Hertz September 17, 2012 at 02:32 AM
"...so sad to see this happen to the bookstores and to us the people." I don't see it as sad at all. It's innovation. It's creative destruction. Now, I don't need to carry paper books around. Instead we get e-books...you can carry thousands of them with you at all times. Don't like e-books? Amazon has more real books than any bookstore in the world, and you can browse all you want without leaving your house. Then you can buy whatever book you want for less money than any physical bookstore around is charging.
Richard Hertz September 17, 2012 at 02:34 AM
Try Amazon...you won't need to travel at all or deal with parking or traffic. And they have more books than any store in the world.
