Area cigar enthusiasts have been waiting for the opening of a new lounge at the Crofton Princess Center.
Construction of the Aphelion Cigar Lounge is nearing completion at the shopping center off Route 3 and is expected to open soon. It will be owned by the Stavlas brothers and likely replace the Titan Cigar now located in the Village at Waugh Chapel.
An opening date has not been announced, but the lounge's Twitter feed earlier this year hinted doors could open this spring. No one answered the phone number listed for the business.
Aphelion is advertising itself as "comfortable for smokers and non-smokers," with a state-of-the-art air filtration system.
