Q: What is your beat about?

A: I have two beat articles a week.  One is for Business and Economic Development for the Crofton Patch.  The second is Fire Fighter Heroes for the Crofton and Edgewater Patch.

Q: How does your beat help people in Crofton and Gambrills?

A: I enjoy helping small businesses grow and thrive in our community.  My beat articles give them and the community a way of communicating and advertising besides signs on the side of the road.

My Fire Fighter Heroes beat is a wonderful addition because so few people know about the events and happenings at the local volunteer fire departments.  Many new people to the community don’t even know we have a volunteer fire department servicing Crofton.
