Snow Falling in Crofton Monday Morning

Crofton residents woke to see snow falling and accumulating. Let us know what you're experiencing.

Wintry weather is expected in the area on Monday morning, with as much as 2-4 inches of snow possible, according to forecasts. 

Snow was expected to roll in sometime around 4:30 a.m. to the Crofton area and continue through much of the day. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect. 

Temperatures will be near the freezing mark, suggesting that roadways may remain relatively uncovered. However, before sunrise Monday, it did appear that snow was not only falling heavily, but accumulating.

It's worth noting that wet and icy road conditions caused serious problems in the area last month. 

The State Highway Administration said it deployed 2,700 crews to treat and clear roadways Monday morning.

Public schools are already closed due to spring break. Libraries will open two hours late, at 11 a.m.
