Build Crofton High School is Asking Crofton Parents to Stand and Be Heard!

Parents of Crofton students,

By now, most of you have probably heard of "Build Crofton High School".  We are parents of Crofton students just like you that have picked up the torch that was dropped by many heartbroken parents, some now grandparents, who fought so hard for a Crofton High School.  

This time around the numbers are favoring us, and the Anne Arundel County Council just funded a study to prove it!  We need to convince the AACPS Board of Education that Crofton is united and stands in great numbers to support the building of a Crofton High School! It is time to STAND AND BE HEARD!

It is as simple as showing up to the only remaining AACPS Board of Education public hearing in 2013, on Wednesday, September 25th at 7pm at the Administration Building, 2644 Riva Road, Annapolis, MD. All you have to do is stand up and support those speaking on your behalf.  IF YOU CAN ONLY MAKE ONE EVENT, THIS IS THE ONE!  

It is YOUR kid that will be separated from friends and neighbors once they leave Crofton Middle School and head to either Arundel or South River.  It is YOUR kid that will attend high schools that are over-capacity.  YOU will have to provide after school transportation if your student plays sports or participates in after-school activities. YOUR kids will have to compete with the "local" kids in Odenton and Edgewater to make the sports teams.  

NOW IS THE TIME!  Join us to show the AACPS Board of Education that the community of Crofton is united and deserves a Crofton High School.  Wear purple if you have it, if not we can provide it!  

WE NEED HUNDREDS of Crofton parents, children, and supporters at Wednesday's meeting...and we know you can help!  This is for your students just as much as it is for ours!  JOIN US!  We can only be heard if we show up!
