South River on the Half Shell Live and Silent Auction

Mark your calendars, Facebook, iPhones, and Blackberries, the date is set for the South River Federation’s Annual South River on the Half Shell Live and Silent Auction! This year’s event will be hosted by Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville, held on Saturday, March 23th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., during their stunning flower show. This is one shell of a party you don't want to miss!

Auction guests will dine on delicious food catered by Palate Pleasers, slurp down Chesapeake Bay Oysters donated by local watermen shucked right in front of you, and enjoy an open bar while bidding on a wide variety silent auction items. The best part of the night is the exciting live auction where attendees can bid on items from fun-filled getaways to stunning art by local artists.

All proceeds benefit the South River Federation and our work to protect, preserve, restore, and celebrate the South River. In a time when funding resources are increasingly scarce, your support, whether it’s attending the auction, donating an item, or being an event sponsor, will allow us to be even more effective advocates for the South River.
