Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup 2013 of Maryland's waterways

Help clean up Maryland’s waterways.  Join the Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup in September as volunteers pick up trash and other harmful debris from our waters before it reaches the Chesapeake Bay and ocean.  Last year almost 600,000 volunteers worldwide picked up over 6 million pounds of trash from the world’s rivers, bays and oceans.  Come help do your part to help clean up Maryland’s waters.  Children welcome!!

Check out sites in Anne Arundel County at www.signuptocleanup.org or contact the state coordinator, Geri Schlenoff at icc.baltimore@gmail.com to register or propose a site.  Cleanups can be conducted at any site on any date in September or October. More information is available at www.oceanconservancy.org, click on Trash Free Seas.
