The Forum Luncheon and Lecture

The Forum for September has an intriguing speaker who conducts expeditions to Antarctica. Join Lori Gross on a virtual expedition to the southernmost continent to learn about the many wonders. Ms. Gross is a freelance marine and environmental science educator. She has been leading expeditions around the world for over 15 years. Her favorite place is Antarctica which she visits annually as a photographer, lecturer and expedition guide aboard boutique cruise ships. She will discuss the life of the many animals that inhabit the area.
Ms. Gross graduated with honors from Trinity College with a self-designed degree in Environment Science and Policy. For over ten years she has worked in marine and environmental science experiential education sharing her knowledge with such organizations as Whale Camp, Visions International, Island Institute and others. In 2001 she founded Creative Education, a non-profit organization that provides unique opportunities for students to explore fascinating locations in the Western Hemisphere. All are welcome to attend.
