NACAC - Impact Day - My Cry in the Dark: Love Should Not Hurt

The North Arundel County Alumnae Chapter (NACAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. cordially invites you to attend IMPACT Day on Saturday, March 10, 2012.  IMPACT is the acronym for "Inspiring and Motivating Public Service Advocates for Community Transformation."

On this day, members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will unite to make a difference in our community by raising awareness about Domestic Violence across the globe.  NACAC will host "My Cry in the Dark: Love Should Not Hurt" at Meade High School (Cafeteria), which is located at 1100 Clark Road, Fort Meade, Maryland 20755.  The event will be held in the cafeteria from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.  Topics of discussion will include: Words from a Survivor, Teen Dating Violence, Local Resources, and the Legal Aspect.

NACAC would greatly appreciate your support! Together we can help end the silence on Domestic Violence.  Light refreshments will be provided during the event.  To further support domestic violence awareness NACAC will be selling raffle tickets at $1.00 each or 6 or $5.00. We will be raffling two items: 1) One night stay at the Historic Inns of Annapolis with a complimentary breakfast for two and a 2) Gift card to Four Seasons Grille. The proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to a local organization that provides support to members of our community who are victims of domestic violence.
