'Ouchless' Campaign Looks to Help Injured Motorcyclists

The "Pretty Girls Ride Ouchless" campaign is looking to help three young women hurt in motorcycle accidents this year.

Patch has partnered with GoFundMe to assist many local individuals and groups achieve their goals.

In the Crofton area, there are many people in need of support.

Today we highlight the efforts of Pretty Girls Ride Motorcycles on behalf of some injured friends.  The campaign has been dubbed the "Pretty Girls Ride Ouchless" fund.

Pretty Girls Motorcycles is a group of female motorcyclists that gather to share their love of riding. Recently, several riders were hurt in accidents and are in need of help to pay medical bills and meet other expenses.

"These accidents have resulted in many financial struggles including unemployment, outrageous hospital bills, the recovery cost for rehabilitation and financial burdens within the household," organizer Tonya Johnson wrote. "The goal of this fund would be to provide women with some sort of relief and assistance with their financial situation."

The Pretty Girls Ouchless campaign was launched on GoFundMe and has raised $580 with a goal of $5,000.
