Croftonite Needs Votes for Dove Hair Contest

Katie Eisele's bad "hair-story" is history and she needs your votes to star in a national hair campaign.

Frizzy, curly, droopy and wild.

Croftonite Katie Eisele’s hair had a mind of its own, before a Dove celebrity stylist gave her a makeover. Now she’s made "friends with her hair,” but needs your votes to win a chance to be the face (and hair) of a national contest.

Eisele is one of the top three contenders in the Dove “Make Friends with Your Hair” campaign contests. The 23-year-old marketing executive made a humorous video demonstrating the dire straights she has with her frizzy hair.

“Dry unpredictable hair and the seasons make my hair even more unpredictable,” said Eisele in her demo video.

She demonstrated how her hair frizzes in winter, curls in the spring showers and summer humidity, and flies all over her head in the fall winds.

The Dove company flew Eisele to New York and transformed her hair with their products. According to a release, celebrity stylist Mark Townsend helped the Corftonite make “friends with her hair.”

Now that her hair is under control, Crofton-Gambrills voters can help her gain control of the contest. Online voting is underway through Nov. 28.
