VIDEO: Summer Reading Program Kicks Off Activities

Kick-off events in Crofton are scheduled for Wednesday and you can still sign up at any Anne Arundel County Public Library branch.

Activities for the sponsored by the Anne Arundel County Public Library system will kick off on Wednesday at the Crofton branch.

Kids can still sign up at any branch in the county, where they can find suggested reading lists with award-winning books that have been identified as suitable and appropriate for all grade levels. Watch the attached YouTube video to learn more about the program.

Teen Kick Off - Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” Reenactment
Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Come dressed in zombie grubbies or arrive early and get zombied up!

Preschool Kick Off - Dream Big
Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., repeated at 11 a.m.
Kick off your summer with a special Dream Big story time complete with stories, songs and crafts.

Kick Off - Gather ‘round the “campfire”
Wednesday at 7 p.m., repeated Thursday at 2 p.m.
Gather round the "campfire" for a toasty good kicking off your summer reading.
