New Facebook page on the history of the Crofton, Maryland area, from the author of Sotweed to Suburbia: History of the Crofton Maryland Area, 1660s- 1960s

In preparation for the 50th anniversary in 2014 of the beginning of the planned community of Crofton, Maryland, I am launching a Facebook page of photographs, drawings, maps, and other images of the history of the Crofton area covering 350 years. I will add new images in the form of albums each month for the next year. The first two albums are “The Old Houses of the Crofton Area” and “The First Houses of ‘Old Crofton.’” The Facebook page will supplement my revised edition of From Sotweed to Suburbia: A History of the Crofton Marylnd area, 1660’s -1960s, published in 2004 by the Rotary Club of Greater Crofton.
