The Lizards are having a Bake/Yard Sale

The Fire Breathing Lizards (FBL aka the 'Lizards') is a FIRST Lego League robotics team (http://www.firstlegoleague.org/). FBL has proudly been sponsored by the South River Powerhawks (http://www.powerhawks.org/) for over 4 years. FBL is a team dedicated to science, technology, math, and building really cool robots! The members of the Lizards are in STEM at Crofton Middle School and one of the FIRST Lego challenge is community outreach. By coming to our event, you are helping our local STEM kids.

  • Bake Sale - the Lizards are making some treats as part of their team building efforts (cookies, muffins, candy, cupcakes)
  • Yard Sale - the Lizards who have proudly donated their treasures to raise money (treasures would include books, toys, houseware).
  • STEM Efforts - hear all about our challenge - Nature's Fury this year and what our strategy to accomplish missions, learn about FIRST Lego Core Values, and which natural distater we will be researching.  Meet the Green Anole - this year's Lizards (EV3) robot design.
