Accident on Route 3 Sends One Woman to Shock Trauma
The crash happened on Route 3 near Clubhouse Gate Drive.
A woman was seriously hurt Sunday morning after an accident on Maryland Route 3 in Crofton, a county fire department spokesman said.
Batallion Chief Steve Thompson said the the accident happened at about 4:50 a.m. on Route 3 near Clubhouse Gate Drive. At least one woman was trapped in the vehicle and crews had to work about an hour to extricate her.
Thompson woman sustained injuries that were serious, but not life-threatening. There were no immediate details on the woman's age or any other victims in the crash.
