Crofton Woman Charged in Heroin, Oxycodone Seizure
A Crofton woman and an Alabama man face drug charges after a search reportedly turned up heroin at her house.
A Crofton woman faces drug charges after a search of her house allegedly turned up heroin and oxycodone, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
Detectives executed a search warrant Wednesday night at the Jessica Scruggs residence, 925 Eastham Court in Crofton as part of an ongoing drug investigation. During the search police found about 9.1 grams of heroin with an approximate street value of $1,092, 35.7 grams of marijuana valued at $714 and 82 oxycodone pills with a street value of $2,050.
In addition, a total of $671 in cash was seized.

Two suspects were arrested and charged: Byron Lee Hawkins, 32, of 2607 Gamma Circle in Huntsville, AL, and Scruggs, 23, of 925 Eastham Court in Crofton.
