Gambrills Drug Bust Nets $28K in Drugs

Anne Arundel County Police arrested two men on Saint Heather Lane with more than three pounds of suspected marijuana.

Two men were arrested Friday in Gambrills for possession of suspected marijuana with an estimated street value over $28,000. 

At approximately 2:40 p.m. on May 6, Anne Arundel County Police's Special Enforcement Section, in tandem with the Prince George's County Police Department and the Maryland State Police Interdiction Group executed a search warrant at a residence in the 2100 block of Saint Heather Lane in Gambrills.

At the home, detectives found over three pounds of what police suspected to be marijuana.

Jason Michael Mrotek, 24, and Marques D. Hudgins, 24, both of the residence, were charged with possession with intent do distribute a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia.
