Kelley Payne Benefit July 19

The Crofton-Gambrills community is rallying around a lifesaver who's working to restore her own life.

Kelley Payne is an Emergency Medical Technician with the Arundel Volunteer Fire Department.

The recent Anne Arundel Community College graduate suffered a stroke several weeks ago. It’s an injury that will require rehabilitation therapy. 

Friends and family of the 21-year-old single mother are calling on the community to help.

A benefit for Payne is scheduled from 620 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at the restaurant. Washington Capitals announcers Craig Laughlin and Joe Beninati will host the event. The event will include a silent auction, 50-50 raffle food, drinks and fun.
